Will an injured cat stop using the litter box altogether?

My 11 yr old cat somehow got injured jumping off the mantle, and I think a small potted plant may have fallen on her paw. It's swollen and she's limping. The same day, I took another cat of mine to be spayed, and my dog ripped a pad off his paw, both of which tapped me out financially at the vet, and therefore I have no money to take her to the vet, who wouldn't offer me any help even though I've been a customer for over 10 yrs. and have always paid in full. Anyway, I noticed the swelling went down, but she's still limping. She's eating very well, though, but I haven't seen her go to the litter box at all. I have 3 cats total and I'm keeping it clean as always. I tried locking her in a separate room with her own box, so I could monitor her use, but 4 hours later, nothing. She may be going at night, but it's hard to tell with 2 other cats in the house. Is it possible that the trauma of her injury is preventing her from going at all? Or could she be picking up on my stress because of what happened to her and the other 2 animals all in one day? This happened 2 days ago...would she be exhibiting signs of illness yet from not going? I'd be extremely appreciative of anyone who could offer any help...I'm unemployed and freaking and feeling like an awful parent. I won't be able to muster up the money to get her to the vet till next week....

My girlfriend who I loved very much, has changed a lot since her mum ped away. I totally understand that, I was expecting that when the doctors told her she wasn't going to live for very long. I feel really sorry for her, but I think she is intentionally driving her life to hell. Since her mum ped away (4 months ago) she has cheated on me, dropped out of university from studying pharmacy for 2 years, been arrested and changed her personality. She used to be this lovely caring girl, who used to make sandwiches for homeless people in london, and volunteered at so many places. Now, she has stopped all that and she is so spiteful. Not sure... it might just be that's the way he is. You could try introducing him to some other hamsters and see if he learns to play with them. Does he like treats? Maybe if you hide treats in different places around the cages he would start moving around and exploring. I have had a few different dogs. The last one was hyperactive and never sat still. I just caught a Deino and straight away, I went to Celestial Tower to Ev train for Sp.Atk. I gave it a Macho Brace to hold, which I read doubled the EV points gained. I must've battled like at least 20 Litwicks so far, each giving 1 EV, but with the Macho Brace 2, but my Deino's Sp.Atk only raised by 3 so far, and I read that every 4 EV raises a stat by 1. Is there something wrong with what I'm doing or something, because I can't figure it out. I also heal my Deino constantly by talking to the nurse in the tower. Does healing your Pokemon reset its EV?

My dog growled at a kid. how do i break her of this?

First let me give you some info on my puppy. She is seven months old and weighs about 25 pounds. She rarely ever barks (like twice a month if that), and when she was five months old she barked at her first person ever. But she didn't growl or anything like. She just barked like three times and quit. Well a couple of days ago I was taking her outside for our daily bathroom break and routine walk when a kid got off of the school bus. He asked me if he could pet her, and I said sure. She has NEVER been unfriendly towards anyone. We have friends over all the time, and my ten month old niece is around her. Well she started flipping out. Barking, growling, and in general just trying to get away. She actually got off of her leash and luckily she ran back inside ( I always keep the door open..just in case). Why would she do this when she's never done it before? Can I expect this again, or is it just an isolated incident? What can I do to prevent this from happening again? Thanks in advance to all who answer. Any help is much appreciated.

my 200 oldsmobile intrigue shuts off. First it kinda studders and then it shuts off and have trouble starting agin. Someone said it was the ignition coil. I personally think its the fuel filter cause as far as my knowledge, the ignition coil (which the car has 2) would judt stop and not turn on or off in intervals. any advice?

Can a kitten of 3 months old be left out to fend for itself?

I took a kitten in cos it followed me from, i dunno where. Didn't know what to do with it so i fed it, bathed it and took care of it for a month and a half. Even took it to the vet for deworming. My housemates agreed to it at first but now one of them says she's afraid of it. Therefore i need to let it go. Would really like to know if it can fend for itself outside. How can we create a GREAT Anime. How do we start. Storyline. Characters. Setting. How can we create unique characters. Im trying 2 draw my characters similar 2 Akira Toriyama (who draws DBZ, Dragon Quest, Blue Dragon and afew other). Should i find my own style. Its hard drawing all of these characters. All the time now when I see a black person in a tv show or a movie now a days, he(or very rarely she) have a latino/indian/white partner.I am not racist but its like putting women who look black on tv is a crime except if they play a non romantic role. Why type of message does that send to little black girls who see these shows and every mainstream shows a well to do black male with a white women or one that is non black? do they take this into account, I have read stuff on how the brain can pick up on subliminal messages and it can have an effect on you wiht you even noticing. You should look into Bethel College in Newton. Having gone to Bethel's rival school, it's difficult for me to recommend it, but knowing people who went to that school, it looks like it could be close to what you're looking for. It's a smaller school, but not as conservative as, say, Friends, Tabor, Bethany, McPherson, etc. (all the other schools in the KCAC). Your GPA is better than mine was (same ACT score) and I got a scholarship to my school that paid 40%. You just have to look into academic and other scholarships. Do your research. There are some crazy scholarships that many people don't even know about.

i have a 90 civic dx automatic with 234000 miles on it. when you switch on the car and drive it for a while the CEL comes on. when you switch off the car the CEL goes off. then turn on again the CEL is not there unless you drive it for a while and it comes on again. so its like when the car warms up then the CEL comes on. also i checked the number of red blinks in the ECU and i get 12 short flashes and that means its code 12 which is the egr, but i removed the egr cleaned it but CEL still comes on. anybody who can help me out there would be a great help and would really appreciate. thanks.

Following Joseph Campbell's theory, can we consider Jesus Christ ( among others) to be a hero archetype?

Whoever he was, Jesus appears to have been a selfless man who pointed out lies and searched for truth. In this way he sets an example for some of us to overcome ( outwit?) our human limitations and this "Barnum and Bailey Circus" world we live in. That said, is "hero" a big enough title for the man? And why do Jesus or the God who many pair him with appear by many to require being worshiped? From what I've read of Christ, worship and acclaim mean nothing to him. Didn't he say "the kingdom of God is within" meaning that change must begin within ourselves? To me it seems that outer behavior (good works or whatever) must be manifestations of inner good and wholeness, and not just the need to "obey" some judge in the sky. In my opinion, this would make those who in love ( rather than in fear) emulate what we know of Jesus to be true heros as well. Of course "hero" is just a word, and a word is merely a symbol. Could Jesus then be only a symbol? Back to Joseph Campbell!

My car has a power shortage, what can can it be and how can I fix it?

now I have this problem like 5 times already, for some odd reason, when I leave my headlight on for about 5 to 15 minute without starting the car, my car automatically died, all the power will be gone and the car won't start again, unless if I jump it with another car, my friends told me it could be the battery or the alternator BUT i told it to the auto Zone and they check it and the battery is still good, it has three more year of life in it and the Alternator is also ok and working fine and it doesn't have a problem, so what could cause my car to shut down automatically, I check everything is everything is fine, it doesn't show me anything repair sign on the gauge or instrument. so what could be the problem and like I said, when I jump it with another car, my car start quickly. the last time it happen was last Tuesday, I started my CRV and it start fine but a little slow, so I turn it off to make sure what was the problem and I restarted and turn the key to start slowly and it happen again, all of my CRV power such as Headlight, AC, POWER WINDOW, MOON ROOF, RADIO and everything turn off and it won't work and their is not power, every my alarm won't work so eventually my friend help me jump it and it work again. so I don't know what could it be, I though it was the battery or the Alternator but like the people at the Auto Zone said, they battery and the Alternator is fine, I ask my friend, could it be the starter and he said not its fine, so could it be a shortage from the power supply, such as ECU.

Power Options Stand By, Turn-Off Hard Disk, and other don't work, help?

I currently use a personal home desktop computer running the windows xp pro operating system. The problem is that I share the computer with my roommates. And they made a bad habit of leaving the computer turned on. So I told them to shut it off when they were done using it, but kept on doing it. So I thought, maybe I should turn on the power option schemes of turn-off hard disks. To my amazement, I tested it when leaving the computer idle for 5 minutes, and it didn't shut-off. So I tried the standby mode, didn't work either. In fact, I 'think none of the power option schemes work on my computer. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to fix that & get the computer to shut itself off when left untouched or idle?

First thing you need to do is get the the tank set up with gravel, filter, hood with light and heater. If you have city water Use a product called AquaSafe in your tap water. It will neutralize the chlorine , chloramines and heavy metals that are dangerous to fish. If you have well water, your water is safe. Establish your tank before adding fish you want to live. This tanks aprox 6-8 weeks. To do this , run your filter during this time and add a few flakes of food daily. You can also put a couple cheap fish in it, to help it establish faster.But dont count on them living once your tanks spikes. Do 25% water changes weekly and test for PH, nitrates, nitrites, hardness, and alkalinity weekly too. You can buy a 5-n-1 Test kit at Walmarts or petsmart. Follow directions and once you aquarium shows it is safe in all 5 areas your tank is ready for fish. Make sure to do a weekly 25% water change every week to keep your levels right. Also continue to check water quality weekly. Good Luck and have fun

Would evaporated goats milk be alright to substitute for heavy cream?

Mobile Facebook is not showing status updates; it only shows wall posts?

I just set-up my husband's facebook, and added his mobile app to his blackberry pearl. When he accesses facebook from his mobile it goes to his home page and only displays wall posts. When you click on the friends tabs it will show their status, but that is only way I have found to see them. He also doesn't have a "like" on. I have the blackberry curve and when I click on my home on it shows all updates, and I have a like on. Can anyone tell me how to make his home page show ALL updates not just wall postings???

Hey guys I just installed a custom made turbo kit on my car I went from na to turbo. If you saw the parents, the pup will likely stay close to their size, but there are exceptions. Sounds like the breeder was not a reputable one and she may not be telling the truth about what the dog may be mixed with. If the puppy got sick, you would have a hard time getting anything from the breeder. It would cost you more to sue her than you would be able to recover. Please take her to the vet to be checked and start shots if they haven't been started already. Also she will probably need to be wormed. Housebreaking should start immediately, but you should keep her from any public areas until she has had 3 rounds of shots. Normally you start training them around 6 mo.

that is sad and the vet clearly did something wrong, otherwise why offer free services ... if he did nothing wrong he would be expecting every single dime ... but the reality is reporting a crappy vet is like reporting a crappy cop ... vets are managed by other vets just like cops are managed by other cops, and just who do you think they will side with ??? you can report all you like but it will make no difference ... it is sad your poor dog is gone and i know you are in the mode to make someone pay or at least acknowledge what happened, but i don't see that happening ... your best bet is to grieve your dog and move on ... even if you sued him, the vet did perform the surgery and would still be entitled to be payment unless it could be proven he screwed up and you will never prove that though i am sure he did screw up ... the only way to prove would be to have a necropsy which is not possible where you are ... they cover their es well those vets ... and don't be surprised if you receive falsified records ... i did when my vet screwed up and the veterinary ociation basically laughed at me ... just get on with your life ... really sorry about your dog ...

Gabriel Garcia Marquez?

I'm even bi-lingual and found Gabriel Garcia Marquez difficult to grasp in either language, but I do tend to have problems with the symbology and time jumps of this style. Ran into the same problem with Isabelle Allende and RR Tolkien, among others. If you like the style, I don't believe they'll be too difficult, nor to diverse for you. The Idol contestants are given exactly what they need to properly sing the song that they choose - be that musical accompaniment, backup singers, or dead silence. If the contestant can't sing, it doesn't really matter anyway. He will still sound terrible. Likewise, some Idol contestants would sound fantastic singing a cappella. In this case, Chris had the musical accompaniment and it DID make the music sound better. Unfortunately, it didn't make Chris sound better!

Okay, I'm adopted, and I'm sixteen years old. I'm gonna try not to bore you, but There is an opportunity of a lifetime that I'm not sure I should take. Well, several months ago, my father called me up, and offered me to talk to my old babysitter (one of the two abusive women), and I refused. My father did not believe me when I tried to tell him as a kid. I remember the way that my babysitter treated kids, she was an adult with three kids, not a teenager like your probably thinking. She hurt a lot of kid's feelings, and Hurt me physically. Now that I know my father still has contact with one of the two people, I'm planning on learning everything I can about the law, and coming back at the age of twenty-six to legally punish my former abuser as an attorney, and hopefully, if anyone is still suffering from the tyranny of these two women, I plan on making it illegal for these adults to continue supervision of any child ever again. I remember the way they hurt me, and if I can still save other kids from suffering the same hell, I'll try. Basically, I'm planning on founding a company that listens to complaints from kids, and makes sure that every kid gets what they need, and does'nt have to suffer like I did. I really want retribution for what happened to me, and the other children. I'm also planning what I will do, when I see Mrs. Julie (My former Babysitter), and how I will make sure she cannot ever do this to anyone again. Unfortunately, I want to found a company, that helps kids with learning disibilities (such as myself). With any luck, I'll find Mrs. Kylie, and Mrs. Julie, and make sure their crimes don't go unpunished. Each house in filled with 2 birds and and after the young are born which they have at least 2 each.....well you can do the math and see my Hitch movie. Why are there so many TV shows about UFOs? The Discovery Channel, TLC, and History Channel all have shows and doentaries about UFOs and aliens. I don't get it, they use "science" is in these shows to show that UFOs exist. Yet their "scientists" are already believers and they very rarely have real scientists that give contradictory views and almost never talk about how natural phenoms could be behind these sightings. I think they are just perpetuating the myth and are instilling in people that if you see something in the air that you can't identify then it is a UFO from a different planet. I'll give Lilligant moves, and Mienshau. Lilligant: Quiver Dance to raise three stats at once, making it faster, stronger (Sp.Attack), and bulkier (Sp.Defense). Petal Dance, okay move, won't confuse with Own Tempo. Bad thing is, you get revenge killed easy, or give up a swap to a Fire type that kills you while you do squat. Energy Ball cause it doesn't uve the commitment. Last, but not least it gets Giga Drain for STAB recovery. Mienshao: First thing first, its ability is Regenerator. It evolves from Mienfoo. Mienshao should know U-Turn, to super effective hit Phsychic types, an regain some HP. Drain Punch to regain HP. Hi-Jump Kick as your main attack. And Brick Break for its reliability. Galvantula: Not to-shabby offensively, a piece of crap defensively. Won't last long, but take advantage of raised accuracy. Give it Thunder (high accuracy with ability) to wreak havoc. Bug Buzz is a good STAB. Energy Ball hits Ground/Rock (not to mention the common Water) hard. The final move is your choice. Vanilluxe: The only Pokemon where I don't want you to choose the item. Run a Choice Scarf to help it revenge-kill (found in Castelia City [only if you've traded with 30 people] or Battle Subway). Give this ice-cream cone Blizzard, and Ice Beam. Flash Cannon to take apart the Rock type, and most people run Taunt, but Hail could work (to increase Blizzard's accuracy). Chandelure: Broken. 1985 Subaru GL doesn't run on 87 octane gasoline?

I am looking into buying a 1985 Subaru GL. I red reviews on this car and it seems very reliable and fuel efficient. The problem I see with the car is it runs on 89 or higher octane gasoline but will not run on 87 octane gasoline. Is this normal for this type of car? It has a 1.8 Litre engine and is carbureted. I cannot find an answer to this question. I want to know if this is normal for this car before I buy it. The owner of the vehicle told me that it only ran on 89 or higher octane.
