Gabriel Garcia Marquez?

I'm even bi-lingual and found Gabriel Garcia Marquez difficult to grasp in either language, but I do tend to have problems with the symbology and time jumps of this style. Ran into the same problem with Isabelle Allende and RR Tolkien, among others. If you like the style, I don't believe they'll be too difficult, nor to diverse for you. If you were able to appreciate books like the Hobbit Trilogy, you will probably love them!
