I want to start making my own hair ecories, would a hot glue gun or superglue work better for this?

I will be wanting to glue beads, flowers, sequins, plastic and all kinds of things to metal and fabric barrets, bobby pins, and headbands. In your opinion what would be the best kind of glue for this? Are there any other glues you can get at the fabric store that would work well and have really strong hold? TIA!! :)
