Tales of Vesperia...is it a fun 2 player game?

My girlfreind and I enjoy playing RPG games together, I am sure we will like this one to. Although what caught my eye was the fact it can be 1-4 players, but does it work well. What i mean is, does the screen just fallow player one, wail player 2 tries to stay in the screen so they can play too. I want a good multi player RPG game that my girlfriend and i can play together. Please disscribe the multi play of this game for the 360, and do you suggest it? Also can I rename the characters?
