You should look into Bethel College in Newton. Having gone to Bethel's rival school, it's difficult for me to recommend it, but knowing people who went to that school, it looks like it could be close to what you're looking for. It's a smaller school, but not as conservative as, say, Friends, Tabor, Bethany, McPherson, etc. (all the other schools in the KCAC). Your GPA is better than mine was (same ACT score) and I got a scholarship to my school that paid 40%. You just have to look into academic and other scholarships. Do your research. There are some crazy scholarships that many people don't even know about.
