Lambda Tau Omega sorority?

i don't know for sure, but two things you've mentioned in your question tell me that you may be in for a hard time: 1) you're in the south, and 2) you're black and in the south, wishing to become a member of a social fraternity that is apparently not designated to be one specifically for blacks. If I were you, I'd simply kick back and enjoy all the perks that come with being an individual and not being a part of any of those organisations. However, learning by doing is the best education you'll ever have, so in this regard i'd say go for that LTO sorority if you so desire, and learn from your experience.
