REALLYIMPORTANT> How do I replicate this wood jewelry?

Ok, this is rather simple, you have purchased a piece of "black lacquered" wood jewelry,......the wood in this case is a tight grained wood,...possibly Bamboo or Teak, maybe even Cherry.......all you have to do now is re-create the wooden piece with another piece of wood that has very little grain showing,....I might suggest that you go out and find a piece of walnut from some old desk top you find at a junk shop, it'll be cheap and you'll have plenty of material to mess up if you don't get it right the First time.......There are several ways to paint the wood black and then coat it with a clear coat,....these days lacquer isn't always the best choice of mediums to "clear coat" something....in fact today we have things like Polyester resins (epoxy) or high grade Varnishes.......Now, to make your wood black?....simply brush some India ink over it a few times and let it dry,......then create your design in white paint using either oils ( titanium white ) or use a white enamel.......you might even get ahold of some oyster powder,.....you add that to your white paint and it makes the paint look like pearl ( get that from a local crafts store )...do your design, let it dry and then without touching the black wood,....put a clear coat over the top of it using a spray can or use a big enough brush to make a coating in one stroke...You can use things like "Varnish" (which needs time to dry) or you can use real "Lacquer".(it dries faster than varnish ) or you can do the right thing by buying a set of epoxy resins......it comes in two parts,...the resin and the hardener,....you mix them together in two parts and they are just like epoxy glue,.....when it is dry ( some 12 hours later) you'll have a wonderful piece of handmade jewelry,......you dont need no stinking online store!!!!!!!!!!
