Help with an infected guaged ear?

ok well see i was stupid and thought i could go from no gauge to a 0! i was wrong!! loll. i got almost through my right ear but it tore! and it hurt really bad but i controlled the bleeding and its not tender anymore after i put a 6 in. but my left ear that i DID NOT try to put the 0 in i just put the 6 in. but it's like swollen and red, and hot, and oozy. so yea its infected for the past like day? im just wondernig if it's ok since i skipped like all the beginning guages and went straight to 6. ive cleaned it with peroxiode and also antibacterial soap i also just put neosporin on it. so is there anything else i can do to help it?
